10 Most anticipated Action Movies of 2011

All Right 2011 is my year for action movies; while 2010 was good the coming year is going to be the year for some great hero movies so here it is my list. In my order of anticipation:

1. Captain America: The First Avenger: July 22
2. Thor: May 6
3. Green Lantern: June 17
4. Cowboys and Aliens: July 29
5. Sucker Punch: March 25
6. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: July 15
7. X-Men: First Class: June 3
8. I Am Number 4: February 18
9. Battle Los Angeles: March 11
10. Rise of the Apes: June 24

It is looking like a good year for Superheroes with Captain America, Thor, and Green Lantern; not to mention X-Men. Of course the opinion of some fanboys is not popular because of the continuity of the story lines with the comics and other movies but as long as the story is good and the action is great I'm going to be there. So far the trailer for Thor and Green Lantern look Awesome.

Sucker Punch has an great trailer and story line as well and while the next Harry Potter film is going to be in 3D it is going to be a great ending to a great series of films. I Am Number 4 is based on a series of books and if done right could lead to a great series of films so keep your fingers crossed that the Director and studio heads do this right.

Battle Los Angeles is an alien invasion film as is Cowboys and Aliens both have great trailers and look to be better than the last few outing for alien invasion films, plus with Cowboys and Aliens having Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig this is going to be a great western film with Alien invasion added to the mix.

Rise of the Apes is the next attempt to update the Planet of the Apes; while I'm looking forward to it and hope that it is a great film; it does have a good cast and James Franco, Frieda Pinto as well as John Lithgow.

Well there is my list and can't wait for 2011 movies and I hope to see them while there in theaters. Enter opinions.
